Admissions Requirements

To be admitted to Concordia University St. Paul’s online MBA program, applicants need to meet the following requirements: complete an online application, have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and all transcripts from previous colleges or universities. Absolutely. CSP’s online MBA welcomes students from non-business backgrounds. The program is designed to provide foundational business knowledge, so you don’t need an undergraduate business degree or specific business coursework to succeed. 

No. CSP’s online MBA program does not require GMAT or GRE scores for admission. This is one of the program’s key benefits, making it more accessible to working professionals with strong academic credentials and professional experience.

Curriculum

CSP’s online MBA curriculum provides comprehensive business education across all core functional areas. The program consists of 30 credit hours (core MBA) or 36 credit hours (MBA with emphasis area). Courses include topics such as ethics and values, marketing, economics for global markets, finance and accounting, strategic management, research methods, human resources, law for managers, operations management, and decision making.  Each emphasis area includes 4 courses of specialized coursework. Yes, CSP’s MBA program is offered 100% online with complete flexibility to earn your degree from anywhere without ever needing to visit campus. All coursework—including lectures, assignments, discussions, group projects, and exams—is completed through the online learning platform. 

Yes, absolutely. The CSP online MBA is specifically designed for working professionals. Most students maintain full-time employment while pursuing their degree. The time commitment depends upon the number of courses you take per semester.  With a part-time schedule of 1-2 courses per semester you can expect a commitment of 10-29 hours weekly.  

An MBA provides you with broad business training that includes core functions of business such as finance, marketing, operations, HR, and strategy.  It prepares you for general management and leadership roles.  The concentration options add an extra level of emphasis on specific topical information. A specialized master’s degree provides a deeper expertise in a single area.  They often prepare you for a specialist role with a specific function.  There is less flexibility to switch between business functions, and it is ideal for professionals already in a chosen field who want to become subject matter experts. However, CSP offers a number of emphasis areas that can combine the core needs of business along with that specialist role to provide a more impactful education. 

This online MBA is respected as a legitimate graduate degree and will help you advance professionally, especially if you’re already employed and seeking career progression.  

Time and Duration

The time to complete your CSP online MBA depends on your course load and whether you choose an emphasis area.  It can be completed in just 2 years but may take longer for part-time students or those with a chosen emphasis area. The program is designed to work with your schedule and needs.   

Tuition and Fees

The cost per credit hour is $525 with a total of 30 credits for the general MBA and 36 credit hours when you add an emphasis area, the total cost is between $15,750 and $18,900.  This is for tuition only and does not account for textbooks, course materials, or loan fees.
