B.S. in Information Systems Admissions

Admission Details

If you’re interested in earning your information systems degree online at Concordia University, St. Paul, you’ll need to submit the following materials with your application and meet the technology requirements for online programs.

Transcripts
  • Official transcripts from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 based on a 4.0 system.
    If you have attended an MNSCU college or university, we also ask that you provide an official accompanying DARS or MnTC goal area worksheet. CSP Global accepts completed goal areas. Transfer students with fewer than 20 college credits completed will also need to submit an official high school transcript
EssayA short personal essay. Students who do not meet initial admissions criteria may be asked to complete the academic success essay and/or provide additional documentation.
Additional RequirementsStudents enrolling at CSP Global must have access to a computer that meets our technology requirements.

International Students

If you are an international graduate student, the following steps help ensure that you have a smooth application process. Contact Concordia’s Office of International Student Services with questions or concerns.

Submit official transcripts.
Complete an official credit evaluation of degree(s) earned at any non-United States institution. Evaluations must be from approved members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
Complete a Certification of Finances indicating the financial source for the expense of attending Concordia University. This form will be emailed with acknowledgement of application.
Submit Proof of English Proficiency.

  • IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or higher (International English Language Testing System)


  • Students from English Language School (ELS) Completion of Level 109 AND IELTS test score of 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 59 or completion of Level 112

  • TOEFL iBT 59 for undergraduate and 78 for graduate students

  • PTE result of 46 for undergraduate and 52 for graduate students

  • iTEP score of 3.5 for undergraduate and 3.7 for graduate students


  • MELP End of Term Assessment of 520 or higher

  • WAEC minimum score of C4

Transfer Credit

Concordia University, St. Paul accepts up to 90 eligible credits for students wanting to earn their B.S. in Information Systems degree online. For those eligible, the Concordia St. Paul Scholarship provides $2,000 in scholarships.
