Curriculum Overview

Overview

Employers of all sizes and industries are demonstrating how much they value information security professionals. Cybersecurity represents one of the biggest company needs, and it’s only natural that the most attractive roles require business acumen on top of strong knowledge and skills surrounding security risk, vulnerabilities, firewalls, project management, and the latest technologies.

That’s where the M.S. in Cybersecurity comes in. It prepares you with forward-thinking, new methodologies, like the DevOps model that will drive how every company will operate moving forward. And it incorporates digital transformation across each course, so you’ll be able to take a leading role in managing business platforms, directing security alignment, ethical considerations, and more. You’ll understand how technology supports strategic decisions and the organization’s best interests.

CSP’s advanced online cybersecurity degree contains all the information you’ll need to pass the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) exam, which is the predominant certification in the field. It also naturally leads to upper-level roles as an information security analyst.
