From 1946 to 1964, 78 million children were born in the United States. In 2010, these baby boomers made up just over 26% of the American population. Fortunately, dramatic medical improvements in the past 60 years have enabled people to live much longer. Recent studies, however, show that baby boomers are much less healthy than prior generations. Here, we take a look at the state of baby boomers wellness and the resultant health care needs.
